Does my company have to be closing?
No. Design work from operating teams, archived products, and closed businesses can be considered. The review focuses on the assets and the context behind them.
Why are my CAD designs valuable?
Models become more useful when they include the reasoning behind them. Feature history, constraints, revisions, drawings, and engineering documentation provide context for understanding real design work.
Will my designs become public?
Your design files are not published or made publicly available. Confidentiality and permitted use are defined in the terms agreed with you before any transfer.
Who owns my designs?
You retain ownership of your intellectual property. Any agreement defines the specific usage rights you grant. We review client agreements, contributor rights, and third-party components before proceeding.
How are CAD assets valued?
We look at the scale and depth of the design work, native file quality, parts and assembly structure, revision history, and supporting documentation. Any offer follows an individual review.
Can I choose which designs I share?
Yes. We agree on the scope with you, including any projects, client details, or sensitive engineering information to exclude. Keep proprietary files and access links out of the initial form.
